Michael J. Revord, Managing Partner Print E-mail

Mr. Revord is a founding member of Aldine Capital Fund, L.P. His responsibilities include deal generation and marketing, structuring and negotiating new investments and exits, portfolio company management along with fundraising and investor relations.

Prior to founding Aldine Capital Fund in 2005, Mr. Revord was a senior executive with Banc One Mezzanine Corporation (BOMC), the mezzanine finance arm of Bank One. In 1997, Mr. Revord was named President of ANB Mezzanine, the predecessor company to BOMC. During his tenure at BOMC he was a member of the Investment Committee and was involved in investing over $325 million in 53 companies. Prior to joining ANB Mezzanine, he was Vice President and Division Head in commercial banking at American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago.

Mr. Revord is on the Board of Directors of Koontz-Wagner Electric LLC and is a Member of The National Association of Small Business Investment Companies’ Board of Governors. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 1984 and lives in Winnetka, IL with his wife and two children.

Frank J. Cheswick, Managing Director Print E-mail

Mr. Cheswick is a founding member of Aldine Capital Fund, L.P. In addition to general management responsibilities associated with the Fund, Mr. Cheswick is responsible for deal generation and marketing, structuring and negotiating new investments and exits, portfolio company management as well as fundraising and investor relations.

Mr. Cheswick joined Banc One Mezzanine Corporation as Managing Director and Investment Manager in August 2003. His responsibilities included underwriting of all new investments as well as management of the existing portfolio. Prior to joining BOMC, Mr. Cheswick was a Managing Director at Century Capital (April 2002 - June 2003). Century Capital is the M&A advisory arm of Century Business Services and Mr. Cheswick was responsible for business development with the private equity community. Mr. Cheswick spent his early career with Bankers Trust Company Inc. (BT) (acquired by Deutsche Bank). For twenty of his twenty-two years with BT he was a middle market banker and buyout lender. In his last two years with the bank he was a Principal in the Bank’s Private Equity Group.

Mr. Cheswick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Fordham University and an MBA from New York University' Stern School of Business. He and his wife live in Chicago and they have four children.

Bert Brahm, Managing Director Print E-mail

Mr. Brahm is a founding member of Aldine Capital Fund, L.P. In addition to general management responsibilities associated with the Fund, Mr. Brahm is responsible for deal generation and marketing, structuring and negotiating new investments and exits, portfolio company management as well as fundraising and investor relations.

Prior to forming Aldine Capital Fund, L.P., Mr. Brahm was a Director with Bank One Mezzanine Corporation (BOMC) and worked closely with Mr. Revord from 1999 until leaving JP Morgan Chase (the parent of BOMC after the merger of JP Morgan Chase and Bank One) in January of 2005. Mr. Brahm joined BOMC in 1999 after working at First Chicago/Bank One and Mellon Ventures in Pittsburgh and obtaining a Masters in Finance from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Brahm's primary responsibilities for BOMC included deal execution and management of existing investments. In conjunction with senior partners, Mr. Brahm was intimately involved in originating, structuring and executing investments of approximately $114 million in 14 companies.

Mr. Brahm graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in business economics and earned his master's degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin. He lives in Wilmette, IL with his wife and two children.

Greg Gibson, Senior Vice President Print E-mail

Mr. Gibson is Senior Vice President at Aldine Capital Fund, L.P. His responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, due diligence and underwriting as well as portfolio company management.

Before joining Aldine Capital Fund, L.P., Mr. Gibson was President of Gibson Investment, Inc., a Chicago based real estate investment and development firm. Prior to that, he served as a Vice President in the commercial division of Chicago Title and Trust. He began his career working for commercial real estate investment and development companies in Chicago including Miglin-Beitler and Continental Offices, Ltd.

Mr. Gibson received a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1987. He earned his master’s degree in finance and entrepreneurship from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He lives in Lake Forest, IL with his wife and three children.

Jared Hall, Vice President Print E-mail

Mr. Hall joined Aldine Capital Fund, L.P. in January 2008. He assists with investment opportunity evaluation, due diligence and underwriting as well as portfolio company management and investor relations.

Prior to joining Aldine, Mr. Hall was a Vice President in The Northern Trust Company's Corporate Banking Group from 2004-2008. He began his career as a commercial banker with American National Bank & Trust Company (now part of JP Morgan Chase) in 1999.

Mr. Hall graduated from Wabash College with a BA in Economics in 1999 and earned an MBA from the University of Notre Dame in 2004. He is on the Auxiliary Board of The Big Shoulders Fund and a mentor in its Gallagher Scholarship Program. He and his wife live in Wilmette, IL.
