The Fund invests in companies experiencing an ownership change, seeking acquisitions, or demonstrating strong growth. While we focus our investment activities in the Midwest and the Great Lakes states, we seek investment opportunities nationwide. Aldine seeks to invest in companies with a history of at least three years of successful operation. The Fund will primarily purchase fixed-rate subordinated notes and seek upside appreciation in each transaction. Aldine focuses on the lower end of the middle market making investments in privately held, entrepreneurial companies. The Principals of Aldine have over 50 years experience providing capital to companies like those targeted by the Fund. |
